Myla O’Brien is a KLT veteran, acting on-stage, working back-stage, directing, serving as a Board Member, including VP of Marketing. She directed KLT’s Marvelous Wonderettes in 2015. While Myla has enjoyed all her roles at KLT from her 1987 debut as the title character in Lily The Felon’s Daughter, to her favorite role of Charlene in 1994’s I Take This Man, which not only resulted in her Best Leading Actress award, but also with her on-stage fiancee becoming her off-stage husband of 20 years, Paul. The two have since collaborated on several productions, but their proudest is their daughters, Allie (17) and Peyton (15). A graduate of Ball State University with a B.S. in Theatre, Myla has volunteered with other theatre organizations around the triad, including directing the World Premier of Conversations in a Cafe and a Staged Reading of All About Faith for Log-Inn Productions. She is Business Manager for The Lattitude Group, a Business Consulting firm headquartered in Kernersville, which is the best town around!
