KLT's 46th Season 2022 - 2023: Welcome to the Family
Families. We laugh together, love together, fight together. Families see us at our best, our worst, and everywhere in between. And last but not least — the third time is the charm! Inspired by a true story and featuring the Tony®-nominated score by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, Broadway’s Bright Star tells a sweeping tale of love and redemption set against the rich backdrop of the American South in the 1920s and ’40s. When literary editor Alice Murphy meets a young soldier just home from World War II, he awakens her longing for the child she once lost. Haunted by their unique connection, Alice sets out on a journey to understand her past — and what she finds has the power to transform both of their lives. With beautiful melodies and powerfully moving characters, the story unfolds as a rich tapestry of deep emotion.

The last year has provided so many lessons and an opportunity to reflect and discern the importance of the values already within our reach. We saw how important love and connection is to the human existence. We gained a deeper appreciation of resilience and adaptability in the face of the unexpected. Not only that, but we recognize the grit and determination of those who chose to forge a path forward when the odds were against them. After an unorthodox season and carving out an existence in unprecedented times, we challenge that it is time to get back to normal — rather, time to get back to what matters. Join Kernersville Little Theatre as we embark on our 2021-2022 season, “Light the Way.”
