. . . .spark an imagination!
We continue our “Bring a Book to Life” program this year at the James Fitzpatrick Auditorium at Kernersville Elementary School with A Christmas Carol.
About This Project
Live theatre can jumpstart the imagination, lengthen a child’s attention span and connect to the importance of reading. A play has the ability to jump a story off the page and bring it to life. This can be a revelation to regular bookworms, but also a real benefit to reluctant readers. Children often relate to “what’s happening on stage” which makes the stage very similar, in a way, to the play acting and role playing all children do. This November, the students at Kernersville Elementary School will attend a “live” theatre production of A Christmas Carol. Donations and grants help support the cost of each child attending the production AND, as an added bonus, each student will receive their very own age-appropriate copy of the book. . . A Christmas Carol.
Receive a thank you letter from Kernersville Little Theatre and a warm and fuzzy feeling of knowing you made a difference in a child’s life AND a special thank you letter from a student. Any gift goes a long way and we can’t do it without your support!
