About The Show:
Peggy and Harvey Ruttles are set to inherit a fortune from Harvey’s recently deceased father. Peggy wants the fortune badly and Harvey doesn’t. To get his inheritance, Harvey must sign the “papers”. When Harvey meets an untimely demise prior to signing the papers, it seems Peggy’s fate is sealed – or is it? With the help of her sister, the two try to convince everyone in their small town that Harvey is still very much alive. All they have to do is somehow manage to get Harvey’s signature on those papers.

About Our Director:
Dan has been teaching, directing and designing theatre in the triad for over 40 years. He was involved in the genesis of Weaver Center (now Weaver Academy) in Greensboro, and taught in that program for 26 years. During that time, his students won 7 state championships and 2 Southeast Regional Championships (the 10 Southeastern States) in one act play contests. Dan retired from Guilford County Schools in 2004 and upon his retirement, the North Carolina Theatre Conference honored the work at Weaver by naming the state “Ensemble Acting “ award after him. Dan now teaches and directs at Greensboro College, where his primary responsibility is the Theatre Education Program, helping to train future public school drama teachers. Dan has also been a guest director and/or designer with Greensboro Community Theatre, Greensboro City Arts, High Point Community Theatre, Randolph Summer Vacation Playhouse and the Greensboro Public Library’s One City One Book project. Dan is married to a theatre costumer, Marion Dail Seaman, and they are empty nesters, having gotten both of their children through college. In their spare time, Dan and Marion are the force behind DarionGlass, which specializes in stained, fused and mosaic glass projects. This is Dan’s third project for KLT, and he loves returning to this theatre community.
