About the show:
Many years ago while settling the estate of a reclusive widow, Arthur Kipps came face to face with unspeakable horror. Harboring his secret, he has suffered alone … until now. Unable to bear it any longer, he seeks the help of a young actor to assist him; together, the two men set out to tell Mr. Kipps’ dark tale. In reliving the terrifying events through their telling, Kipps fights to regain peace in his now tortured existence. He hopes to purge himself of the source of his nightmares — the haunting Woman in Black.
Stephen Mallatratt’s amazing ghost play is based on Susan Hill’s book by the same name; his stage adaptation has been running on London’s West End for 23 years! Hill’s book is also the inspiration for the recent major motion picture, The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe.
