Let’s keep Community Theatre alive!
As a non-profit community theatre, Kernersville Little Theatre relies on the generosity of our patrons to help fund our productions and programs. Ticket sales account for only 40% of our operating expenses. The remainder of our funding comes from the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, other foundations from year to year, business donors and individual members. Please consider supporting KLT and help keep theatre alive in our vibrant community.
A gift of any size makes a difference. A $50 donation will purchase all the props needed for one production. A $200 donation will cover equipment rental for one production. A $500 donation will cover the cost of royalties and script rental for one performance of a musical production. Please support KLT and help keep community theatre alive!
2021-2022 Annual and Endowment Campaign
As usual, though still in unusual times, Kernersville Little Theatre kicks off its annual request for donations in the fall. Our fund drive coordinates with the beginning of our fiscal year, which starts on September 1. We are finally returning to live, indoor play productions, but the inescapable fixed expenses of operating a community theater have not gone away.
Rental fees for our storage spaces to keep and maintain our equipment, costumes, props and more continue every month, plus fees for our performance space and running a small business. This year, we will ask that donors dedicate tax-deductible giving to either our Annual Fund or the Endowment Fund we established in 2020 — or both! ANY donation is greatly appreciated!
