About the Show

Blithe Spirit introduces us to fussy, cantankerous novelist Charles Condomine, re-married but haunted by the ghost of his late first wife, the clever and insistent Elvira who is called up by a visiting “happy medium,” one Madame Arcati. As the personalities clash, Charles’ current wife, Ruth, is accidentally killed, joins Elvira, and the two “blithe spirits” haunt the hapless Charles into perpetuity. Until death do us part, or so we thought—Blithe Spirit runs February 28 through March 8, 2020.

Director

Myla O’Brien is a KLT veteran, acting on-stage, working back-stage, directing and serving as a board member. She directed KLT’s Marvelous Wonderettes in 2015 and A Christmas Carol in 2019.  She last seen on stage as Jeri Neal in The Dixie Swim Club. Myla has also volunteered with other theatre organizations around the Triad.
