About our director:
Alvin Tyndall is the Artistic Director of the Stained Glass Playhouse in Winston-Salem. He has performed with KLT, Winston Salem Little Theatre (now Twin City Stage), the Summer Festival and many other theatrical groups. Here at the Stained Glass Playhouse he has directed over twenty plays which include Brigadoon, 1776, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Mahalia, Hello, Dolly, The Sound of Music (twice), Man of La Mancha, Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Home, A Raisin in the Sun (two times), and Camelot. Favorite roles include “Benjamin Franklin” in 1776 and “King Herod” in Jesus Christ Superstar. He is a member of the Center Point Board of Directors and serves as Chairman of Pastor-Parish Relations, Financial Secretary, Trustee and Lay Speaker for Marvin United Methodist Church.
Our music director:
Charlie Thompson has been a Lewisville resident for the last 8 years. He is a retired public school music teacher and has worked with Kernersville Little Theatre (on 18 previous productions), Twin City Stage, Community Theatre of Greensboro, High Point Community Theatre, High Point University Theatre and several other local theatre companies. This is Charlie’s first involvement since KLT’s production of ANNIE a few years back.
